Hello, I’m Ben Ramirez. I’m the Sales Team Leader and Senior Loan Officer for The Ramirez Team. I was born and raised here in Tucson and went to school at Flowing Wells High School and The University of Arizona. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2004, I began my mortgage career that same summer. I truly enjoy my career in the mortgage business and find it very satisfying to help families achieve their dream of home ownership.
This job can be immensely technical due to guidelines and programs constantly changing. I revel in the challenge of producing solutions for our clients when others may have turned them away. My team and I take pride in what we do, and we do our best for our clients; from first-time home buyers to seasoned investors we value and support our community. Both my parents instilled the importance of hard work and doing my best no matter the challenge. I still carry that with me today in the mortgage industry. I can say that Sunstreet Lending is my home because it aligns with my beliefs; they truly care about their clients and employees.
I am going on 6 years with Sunstreet Lending and I’m so grateful for landing here. We are currently one of the top 3 teams at Sunstreet Lending and have been in the President’s Club for 5 consecutive years. My career as a mortgage professional has taught me many skills and lessons. The stand outs are integrity and knowledge. Since 2001 at the start of my career, back in Wisconsin, I’ve seen a lot of changes and challenges with an ever-fluctuating housing market. This experience has given me a unique transcontinental perspective of the mortgage industry. Going from a loan processor to a licensed loan officer assistant has been such a great change and has allowed me the honor of helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership. Living in Tucson with my two beautiful children keeps me busy and motivated to excel in my professional and personal life. I may not have grown up in Tucson, but Tucson has grown on me to become my forever home! With hard work and dedication, I promise to help people into their forever homes as well!
